Work Experience

2006 to Present:

Selected by the Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) Music Department for their

          student work program. Duties include being in charge of the music lab and assisting

          the head of the department and other staff as needed.

Summer 2007 and 2008:

          Assistant violin/music theory instructor, Teipen Music Studio, Clayton, MO.

Ensemble/Orchestral Experience

2006 to Present:

Belleville Philharmonic Youth and Senior Orchestras, violin and viola.

Philip Tinge’s Philzharmonics, violin and viola. Venues have included

          Disney World in Florida and Holiday World in Indiana.

          Five Seasons string quintet, violin and viola.

          Pit orchestra string player, The Wizard of Oz and Beauty and the Beast.

Awards

          Spring 2008, SWIC Music Department Instrumentalist Award.

          2007-2008, SWIC Music Department tuition scholarship.

Education

Spring 2008, major coursework completed at SWIC for an AFA degree in

          music education, 4.0 GPA. Future plans include BA and MA degrees at SIU-E.

          Currently studying piano with the Music Department Director, SWIC.

          Member Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
