KATHY MIGUEL - VOCAL INSTRUCTOR - Kathy is well known for her beautiful voice, versatility as a performer, and wonderful rapport with children. She has many years of training in vocal performance, performing, singing and song writing, as well as experience as a private vocal instructor. Kathy has been teaching voice for over 20 years. She began her own vocal studies at age 15, and has been a student of the voice ever since. She studied vocal performance at universities, and in private studios in St. Louis, Tulsa & Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Kathy specializes in not only teaching technique but vocal styles of Gospel, R& B, Jazz, not just Classical, “I found freedom in versatility. Each student always has her favorites, mine is Gospel/ R& B. As I may have stated earlier, I am still studying, I will always be a student of the voice.”

Accomplishments:

Kids Learn to Sing Book and CD - is Kathy Miguel’s debut book, published in 2004.

As a result of many parents pursuing her to teach their little ones to sing, Kathy decided to share her passion for singing with kids. She developed easy and fun ways to teach the otherwise difficult concepts of vocal instruction.

Kathy has performed and recorded for well- known Christian ministries such as Oral Roberts Television Singers, and toured with Terry Law’s Living Sound under the direction of well-known worship leader Don Moen. She sang for the studio-recorded tracks for Hosanna Music’s first original groundbreaking praise and worship recordings, as well as for local television ministries and churches in the Midwest, Arkansas and Tulsa, Oklahoma. She has been a featured soloist in the local well-known Faith Family Church Christmas and Passion Play productions. She has directed several choirs for the local home school association and her local church.
