Biography:
I started my musical career playing the clarinet in concert and jazz bands from fourth grade until the end of high school. I joined choir in eighth grade, and I began playing guitar my freshman year of high school. I have continued to practice and learn both since. I spent a year at SLU, where I studied vocal music performance. I then transferred to SIUE, where I took on a Music Education degree program. I moved once more to SWIC, where I am currently taking a Recording Technology curriculum.

Professional Experience:
I played guitar in pit crews for various musicals for the Broadway Center of the Arts and for Southwestern Illinois College in Belleville, IL. Shows I worked on include the “Rocky Horror Show,” “Seussical the Musical,” and “Little Shop of Horrors.”
I have performed a variety of musical styles both independently and collaboratively. Individually, my credits include a story-telling/folk workshop at Lindenwood College and various formal engagements such as retirement and birthday parties. I have been in original rock bands since 2001 that play venues such as Pop’s, Creepy Crawl, Mississippi Nights, and the Red Sea.
